Information for Teachers and Careers Advisers
Staff from the Marketing Department are happy to welcome visiting groups of Year 12 students onto our campus or, depending on location and requirements, we can visit your school, college or careers service to give a presentation.
Visiting the University
We are able to accommodate entire year 12 school/college groups for information sessions, through to providing subject specific tours of the relevant King's campus with current students.
Open Days
Additionally, students should note the subject specific Open Days held for year 12 student between July-September. See our pages regarding our
Open Days for more information.
Self-guided tours
Should students not be able to make the Open Day and wish to visit the college individually, they are welcome to conduct a self-guided tour of the relevant campus.
Guy's Campus
(Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical & Health Sciences):

Strand Campus
(Humanities, Law, Physical Sciences & Engineering, Social Science & Public Policy):
Students can conduct a self-guided tour of the campus, Monday-Friday 09.00 to 17.00. Simply go to the reception desk where you can collect a map and notes on the campus or download the notes
here. If you wish to visit a particular department or Admissions Tutor, please arrange this prior to visiting the campus to ensure that your visit is mutually convenient and to avoid disappointment.
If you wish to visit the Maughan Library, the College library for Strand - based students, please contact Vivien Robertson on 020 7848 2313/2312 or email

Please note that admittance to the library is not permitted for non-King's students without prior booking.
Waterloo Campus
(Biomedical & Health Sciences, Management Centre, Nursing & Midwifery):
Self-guided tours are not available at Waterloo. Please visit the Strand and also contact the department as advised above.

We can offer talks about King's College London or impartial advice and guidance on a number of topics that include the following:

- Choosing your Course and University
- Subject talks by current King's undergraduate students
This is not an exhaustive list. Please ask if you would like a presentation on a topic not mentioned. All talks can be tailored to specific needs.
We would appreciate it if all enquiries for academic speakers come through the Marketing Department so we can ensure your enquiry is processed quickly and you and your students are provided with the most relevant information.
