The Conference was well attended and started with an introduction from Professor Paul Blackmore, Institute Director, King's College London.

A keynote address from Professor Lynn McAlpine, Centre for Excellence in Preparing for Academic Practice, University of Oxford & McGill University, focused on
"Academic Practice: How do we experience it? How is it changing? What are the pedagogical implications for preparing future generations of academics?"
This was followed by a series of seminars and round table discussions.
