Information Services Centres and Libraries

Information services centres (ISCs) and libraries provide access to multi disciplinary print and electronic information resources that support the teaching and research needs of the Schools and the
clinical requirements of the NHS. The collection encompasses over one million books and thousands of journals and also includes theses, dissertations, reference tools, official publications, research reports, statistical data, maps, music scores, audio and video tapes, records, CDs, DVDs, photographs, manuscripts and microforms.

Maughan Library and ISC
Humanities, law and physical sciences and engineering collections. Also houses the Foyle Special Collections Library and the Tony Arnold Library of the Institute of Taxation.

Franklin-Wilkins ISC
Home to nursing and midwifery, biomedical, health and life sciences, management and education collections.

New Hunt's House ISC
Holdings covering all aspects of biomedical science, medicine and dentistry.

Weston Education Centre ISC
Houses basic medical sciences, clinical medicine, dentistry and health services research collections.




Institute of Psychiatry (IOP) Library
Extensive collections in psychology, psychiatry, psychotherapy, neurology, neuroscience and genetics.

St Thomas' House ISC
Holdings cover all aspects of basic medical sciences, clinical medicine and health services research.
