Information resources

Notes and papers A major portfolio of multi disciplinary information resources is available in both print and electronic format. The collection encompasses over 1.25 million books and thousands of journals. Additional resources include theses, dissertations, reference tools, official publications, research reports, statistical data, maps, music scores, audio and video tapes, records, CDs, DVDs, photographs, manuscripts and microforms.

All staff and students have access to an extensive and rapidly growing number of local and remotely accessible electronic resources including bibliographic and full text databases, electronic journals, electronic books, international library catalogues, Internet resource discovery tools, subject gateways, data sets and multimedia resources.

A username and password is required for many services including email, wireless, PAWS, the e-learning platform and secure pages on the College web server. Your Athens username and password works for the majority of King's e-resources and most non-Athens authenticated content is now accessible remotely using your King's email username and password. Please ask for advice at a help desk if you have any problems.

ISS is keen to ensure that these resources are relevant and of a high quality. You can submit requests for new resources via the web site and discuss your needs with an ISS information specialist.
