Introduction

Congratulations on choosing to undertake your higher degree at King's.
King's values graduate students. We realise that you are a critical part of a research intensive university. You contribute to the intellectual vitality and vibrancy of the institution as you learn, grow and develop. And today's graduate students are tomorrows Post-Doctoral Research Fellows and the potential Nobel Prize winners of the next decade.
Because of this, King's established the Graduate School in 2005 expressly to give substance to the College's ambition to attract a larger share of the most talented graduate students from around the world, and to ensure that the College responds positively to the changing needs of graduate students.
The Graduate School is therefore all about ensuring that King's provides you with the support, facilities and supervision that you need to write an excellent thesis and to move successfully on to the next stage of your career whether that is as an academic or in industry, government, or enterprise.
We understand that completing a higher degree can be a daunting and sometimes lonely task so we have decided to produce these web-pages as a resource that will allow you to access all the information you might need at different points in your time at King's.
We really hope that you find them useful, but if there is information that you think is missing, please let us know by contacting
