Tuition fees
The majority of fees listed are the latest fees available for the academic year 2008-9. Tuition fees are likely to change for future years, so you should use these as a guide only and always check all programme fees with the School office to which you are applying.
Please note that all fees listed are for the first year of a programme only; if your programme continues into subsequent years, the fees for those years may differ.
Equivalent or lower level qualifications
The UK Government is currently revising funding arrangements for home/EU students who are seeking to obtain an equivalent or lower level qualification (known as ELQ) than they already hold. This will affect the fee status of some home/EU applicants regardless of where they took their first degree. We await final confirmation of the affected programmes and are therefore not able to give definitive details of the exemptions from this policy.
King’s College London will not be altering fees for ELQ students starting in the 2008-9 academic year; however the College is deciding how this is likely to affect the tuition fees for 2009-10. Please check back on these web pages for updated information.
Taught programmes
Fees for all taught programmes can be found listed alongside individual programmes on the online prospectus. If in any doubt, you are advised to check with the School office to which you are applying.

Instalments and deposits
You can pay tuition fees in two instalments, but if you pay in full by the stipulated date you will receive a two per cent discount. For certain programmes, a fee deposit scheme is in operation. When you are offered a place to study on one of our programmes, you will be advised whether you are required to pay a deposit (likely to be around 10 per cent of the fee). This will affect some of, but not all, programmes in this prospectus and you will be sent all relevant information by the School to which you are applying. Please check our website for the most up-to-date information.
